Chang Downs Dzivielevski; O'Hara Can't Complete Comeback
Ian O'Hara had moved in has last few chips in early position. Lawrence Chang in middle position and Yuri Dzivielevski in the small blind created some side action to make a side pot of around 95,000, while the main pot amounted to roughly 50,000.
Dzivielevski then bet 163,000 on the 4♣8♠K♠ flop. Chang went deep into the tank before he called. Dzivielevski tossed in his remaining 150,000 or so on the A♣ turn, with Chang calling quickly this time.
Ian O'Hara: Q♠J♠7♥4♠
Yuri Dzivielevski: A♥K♦10♥8♥
Lawrence Chang: 6♠6♦5♠5♥
Dzivielevski was in a good position to take down the pot, but the X♠ river provided both opponents with a flush. Chang raked in the sizable side pot to eliminate the Brazilian superstar, while O'Hara was awarded the main pot with a higher flush.
Despite O'Hara's efforts, his four big blinds went all in again on the next hand, and this time he did not win and was eliminated as well.
