Vieira Nearly Doubles Without Showdown
Level 22
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Joshua Pape raised to 105,000 in early position. Jesse Lonis flat-called in the hijack before button Joao Vieira squeezed in a three-bet to 465,000. Pape quickly got out of the way, but Lonis called after a deep tank.
Vieira had left himself just 150,000 behind, which he pushed all in on the 9♦4♣A♦ flop once Lonis had checked. Lonis could only laugh as he folded his K♠Q♠5♥X♥ face up, and the pot was shipped to Vieira without further contest.
