Allee Gives Up on Kings

Alex Kim opened to 120,000 from early position and A.J. Allee raised to 310,000 from the small blind. Kim asked how much Allee had behind, and Allee replied he was just shy of two million and Kim called.

The 9♠8♠6♦ flop saw Allee quickly check-call a 250,000 bet by Kim to see the 5♦ turn.

Both checked to see the Q♦ river and Allee checked again. Kim bet 850,000 which sent Allee into a small tank. After around a minute and a half, Allee opted to muck. One player at the table asked him to confirm what he had said after mucking, asking, "folded kings?"
