Small Profit from the Chop
Level 27
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Rafi Elharar opened to 160,000 from under the gun and David Jackson called from early position. Banipal Babana three-bet to 400,000 from the hijack and Freddy Caisson four-bet to 2,000,000 on the button. Action folded back to Babana who just called, letting Caisson sit with just 85,000 not committed to the pot.
The 5♣9♥5♠ flop checked to the A♥ turn. Babana checked, Caisson jammed for his last 85,000 and Babana called.
Freddy Caisson: A♣K♦
Banipal Babana: A♠K♥
There was no other way to go than a chop pot, and the pair both picked up small from the hand.
