"Gotta Win The Flips"
Jed Friedman opened to 600,000 from the cutoff, and action folded around to Rob Kuhn in the big blind. Kuhn moved all in for his remaining 8,025,000, and action went back to Friedman.
Friedman went into the tank and took around 2 minutes to make a decision. Meanwhile, Kuhn was talking to the table, saying, "It's good, if he calls I win, if he folds I win."
Friedman remarked towards the end of his tank, "I am leaning towards going with it..." He eventually moved in a stack to call and cover Kuhn and tabled his cards.
Rob Kuhn: A♦Q♦
Jed Friedman: 7♦7♥
Kuhn was behind and needed to hit the board to stay in the tournament, but he missed on the K♠4♥6♣ flop. The J♠ turn brought Kuhn closer with the straight draw, but the 3♥ river was no help, and he was eliminated in 35th place.
He stood from the table and said, "Gotta win the flips," as he walked from the tournament area.
