Danny Noam

Seven Card Stud

Danny Noam: AQ/A665/8 All in
Yu Li: XxXx/479J/Xx - folded on seventh street
Kazuhiro Shirasawa: 822/65102

Yu Li brought in, Kazuhiro Shirasawa called, and Danny Noam completed. Li and Shirasawa both called, after which Noam bet his last 13,000 on fourth street.

Li and Shirasawa tossed in calling chips, then checked through fifth and sixth street. Li checked again on seventh street, but Shirasawa flicked in a bet.

Li reluctantly folded, and Shirasawa showed three deuces. Noam just had two pair, and he did not improve with his seventh card to be eliminated.

Level 24
Omar Mehmood
Omar Mehmood

2-7 Triple Draw

Joey Couden raised on the button and Omar Mehmood called in the big blind.

Both players drew two on the first draw and Mehmood check-called a bet from Couden.

On the second draw, Mehmood drew one and Couden stood pat. Mehmood then check-raised all in after Couden bet and Couden called to put Mehmood at risk.

Both players stood pat on the end, which got a, "That's not good news," from Mehmood, who showed 9x8x6x3x2x for a nine.

Mehmood's fears were confirmed, as Couden fanned out 8x7x4x3x2x for an eight, which was enough to eliminate Mehmood in 13th place.

Madsen drew one card, Mehmood remained pat, and Le tossed one card as well.

Omar Mehmood: 9x8x7x3x2x All in
Jeff Madsen: 7x6x4x3x All in
Allan Le: 8x5x3x2x

Madsen paired up with a 6x, and Le did so with a 5x. Mehmood tripled up as his nine-low held, while Madsen was sent to the rail by Le's lower pair.

Maximilian Schindler
Maximilian Schindler

Pot-Limit Omaha

Maximilian Schindler made it 70,000 in the hijack. Kazuhiro Shirasawa called on the button, and Thomas Taylor defended his big blind.

Schindler then bet 240,000 on the 5Q7 flop. Shirasawa called, but both players folded their hands when Taylor check-raised the pot.

One hand later, Schindler got his 140,000 in preflop against Eli Elezra, and was at risk.

Maximilian Schindler: A973 All in
Eli Elezra: KKJ3

Elezra's kings remained best on the 67695 board, making kings and sixes to send Schindler out.

David Williams

Pot-Limit Omaha

David Williams was seen betting a pot-sized 250,000 on a 73KA turn from the cutoff. Antonios Onoufriou called on the button, after which the 5 appeared on the river.

Williams put in the remaining stack, worth 465,000, and Onoufriou looked him up after a bit of thought.

Williams tapped the table as he revealed AQ66 for top pair and blockers to the straight. Onoufriou had called with AQJ7 for two pair, sending a disillusioned Williams to the rail.

Williams called another bet from Onoufriou on sixth and then raised a bet from Onoufriou on seventh. Onoufriou responded with a three-bet, much to Williams' dismay.

"No fu**ing way..." Williams said as he tossed in a reluctant call.

Onoufriou tabled his hole cards for a wheel and Williams showed he held a six before mucking. Tilton held a queen — sending the massive pot Onoufriou's way and eliminating Tilton from the tournament.

Shaun Deeb Leads Stacked Field Heading into $3,000 Nine Game Mix Finale; David Williams Looking for First Bracelet in 20 Years

David Williams
David Williams

After two full days of battling on the felt inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, Event #52: $3,000 Nine Game Mix is down to just 21 players seeking to become the latest mixed-game champion.

Leading the way with 3,500,000—nearly 20 percent of the chips in play—is none other than mixed-game crusher and eight-time bracelet winner Shaun Deeb.

Deeb vaulted to the top of the WSOP Player of the Year Leaderboard after a spectacular performance at the 2026 WSOPE, but has since slipped and is looking to turn things around after a somewhat disappointing summer thus far. Prior to this event, Deeb had only one cash during this series, but he currently sits as the favorite to make a run at the final table and reclaim a top spot in the leaderboard race.

Deeb will have a mountain of talent to contend with, however. Sitting in second position with 1,742,000 is 2004 WSOP Main Event runner-up David Williams, who has taken a break from his commentating duties to showcase his poker prowess in the prestigious event.

Further down the leaderboard are Poker Hall of Famer and five-time bracelet winner Eli Elezra (901,000), five-time bracelet winner Mike Gorodinsky (832,000), two-time bracelet winners Allan Le and Joey Couden (672,000), and Jeff Madsen (318,000) — who is fresh off a victory in the $1,500 Dealer's Choice event for his fifth bracelet.
