Double Up for Helppi
Level 23
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Juha Helppi raised to 105,000 from under the gun before Ravi Shankar made the call from the next seat over.
Daniel Perkusic opted to reraise to 200,000 from the small blind. Helppi went all in for 455,000 total. Shankar folded, but Perkusic put in the call to put Helppi at risk.
Juha Helppi: A♠A♥10♦4♣3♥
Daniel Perkusic: K♠K♦8♣4♠3♦
Helppi had the lead as they went to a showdown.
The runout of 8♥9♣5♠Q♥2♦ did not dethrone Helppi's aces as he secured the double-up.
