Depa Jams Into the Nuts

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Amir Mirrasouli
Amir Mirrasouli

Amir Mirrasouli bet 20,000 from the cutoff on a flop of QJ4 and Jonathan Depa raised to 100,000 in the big blind. Mirrasouli called, and the A fell on the turn.

Depa then moved all in for 240,000, and Mirrasouli snap-called. Depa showed QJJ6 for a flopped set, but Mirrasouli had turned the nut straight with K10103.

Depa needed the board to pair on the river to survive, but he missed the 7 river and was sent to the rail.
