Benyamine Raises Big on the River

David Benyamine and Jared Bleznick went to a flop of 443 where Benyamine bet 38,000 from the cutoff. Bleznick called in the small blind.

Both players checked the 7 turn. Bleznick then led out for 110,000 on the Q river, but Benyamine came back with a raise to 380,000. Bleznick quickly folded, and Benyamine flashed AA as he took the pot.

Foxen Runs Into Koon's Nut Flush

Alex Foxen opened from middle position and called after Jason Koon three-bet from the cutoff.

The dealer fanned a flop of 4Q10 and Foxen moved all in for 275,000. Koon called with a very slightly bigger stack.

Bleznick Gets There on the River

David Benyamine limped in from under the gun and Jared Bleznick then raised to 32,000 in middle position. Qinghai Pan in the cutoff, Craig Franze on the button, and Benyamine all called.

The flop came 443 and Bleznick bet 37,000. Pan and Franze called, while Benyamine got out of the way.

Bleznick then bet 56,000 on the 7 turn, and both opponents again called. All three players checked the K river, and Bleznick turned over AK63 for two pair on the river. Pan flashed QQ as he mucked, while Franze also tossed two tens into the muck and surrendered the pot to Bleznick.

Trojand Runs Into Karakitukov's Aces

Veselin Karakitukov raised to 27,000 under the gun and Jeremy Trojand potted in the cutoff. Karakitukov then moved all in, and Trojand called for 200,000.

Trojand hit top pair on the K49 flop but still needed to improve against Karakitukov's aces. The Q turn was no help, while Karakitukov held up on the 2 river to send Trojand to the rail.

Cig Smoking Poker Player Kicked Out of WSOP Event for Putting Chips in Pocket

A player on Day 1 of the $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event at the World Series of Poker was kicked out of the tournament for putting his chips in his pocket after attempting to smoke at the table.

The WSOP's social media account posted a video of the incident involving a player arguing with a floor supervisor over smoking a cigarette at the table. The player was adament about smoking while playing, which hasn't been permitted in any U.S. poker room since 2003.

Negreanu Pots the Turn

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Amir Mirrasouli limped in from the hijack and Daniel Negreanu raised to 27,000 in the hijack. Alex Foxen called in the cutoff, as did Mirrasouli.

Negreanu bet 60,000 on the A65 flop, and only Mirrasouli called. The turn was the J and Negreanu potted for 216,000. Mirrasouli tanked for a minute, but he eventually gave up his hand as Negreanu took down another pot.
