Loeliger's Boat Gains Speed; Ruban Busts

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ivan Ruban
Ivan Ruban

Ivan Ruban in the small blind raised to 120,000 and Paulina Loeliger in the big blind called.

The dealer spread Q48. Ruban kept the pressure with an 85,000 bet. Loeliger called again.

On the turn A, Ruban pressed hard and bet 380,000. Loeliger thought for a moment before making the call once again.

Finally on the river A, Ruban fired 1,000,000 sending Loeliger into a depp tank. After around a minute, she shoved all-in for 1,485,000.

It was Ruban's turn to mull things over. He made the call and showed 65 for a flush. He looked visibly disappointed when Loeliger tabled A8 for a full house.

The dealer pushed the pot to Loeliger's side, leaving Ruban with only 80,000 chips left.

Ruban wasn't able to recover as ended up getting it in with 109 against the AJ of Maxim Lykov, and the 77 of Abhishek Mhatre.

The board ran out A52610, sending Ruban home, while Lykov doubled through Mhatre
