Vitch All-In, All-In, All-In Again
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Keeping a wary eye on the tournament board for pay jumps and bustouts Christopher Vitch made all-in shoves in three of four hands.
With no callers, he worked his way from just over 600,000 chips to more than a million.
That lead to a hand where he raised to 120,000 in the cutoff. Ying Zhu, the chip leader at the table who was on the button, moved all in.
Vitch hesitated for a bit before electing to make the call with 1,060,000 chips.
Christopher Vitch: A♥J♥
Ying Zhu: A♣K♥
Vitch felt he was behind before making the preflop call, and he was right. Then the board played out with A♠4♥K♦10♥2♥ hitting the table giving him the runner-runner to a flush and big-time double-up.
