Bystrovzorov led out for 275,000 on the 6♦ turn, and Semaska took a moment before sending his cards into the muck.
A player in the WSOP $1,000 Super Seniors has found himself in hot water after bringing an X-rated card protector to the table.
Andrew Martin, who was competing on Day 2 of the event, told PokerNews that WSOP floor staff instructed him to remove the silver card protector after deeming it inappropriate for use during the tournament.
According to Martin, staff also issued a warning on his WSOP account and informed him that any further use of the item could result in a more serious penalty.
Bobby James limped from under the gun, and Georgios Tsoupras did the same on the button. Christopher Jacobson made the call in the small blind, and Steve Sebbag checked his big blind option.
Jacobson led out for 75,000 on the 8♣7♣A♥2♠ flop, with only James calling to the 2♠ turn. Jacobson fired again, this time for 325,000.
James made the call, and Jacobson moved all in after seeing the 8♦ river. James took some time before frustratingly folding his hand, and Jacobson collected the pot.
Toby Joyce called 40,000 in the small blind, Waheed Ashraf in the big blind raised to 140,000, Joyce looked at Ashraf stack for a brief second then made the call.
Both players checked when the flop came 9♦J♠2♦. Joyce decided to bet 220,000 when the 6♣ was dealt on the river, then Ashraf thought about his decision for a few seconds then decided on fold.
Schuyler Thornton raised to 80,000 from the hijack and was called by the button, the small blind and Nuno Duarte in the big blind.
Thornton continued for 200,000 on the 4♥3♥7♥ flop. Duarte was the only one to call, and he check-called a second barrel to 450,000 on the A♠ turn.
The 5♣ river was quickly checked by both players, So Duarte announced that he had a flush with K♠10♥2♥2♦ to scoop the pot.
Daniel Hachem in the big blind was all-in and at risk for 435,000 against Braden Golub in the hijack.
