Hit the River, Get Value

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Brice Hector raised to 75,000 from under the gun, and, after Michael Acevedo called on the button, Richard Ali came along in the big blind.

When the action checked through on the 4810 flop, Ali saw that as a green light to take over the betting lead on the 4 turn, putting 85,000 into the middle. That was enough to shake Hector off, but Acevedo called on the button.

The 2 completed the board, and Ali slid 250,000 into the middle. Undeterred, Acevedo called, but it was bad news, as Ali tabled Q3 for a rivered flush.

Acevedo returned his cards face down to the dealer, and paid the river bet.
