"I'm Going to Go After You" Saechao Says Before Jamming Into Duveau's Aces
There is bad blood between Kao Chieng Saechao and Julien Duveau, but only one of them is still in the tournament after a bit of instant karma.
The two had clearly had an earlier dispute when PokerNews observed Saechao open-jam in late poistion into the big blind of Duveau. When Duveau folded, Saechao proudly showed 7x2x to his rail and warned that he was going to keep coming after Duveau.
"Every time you're big blind I'm going to go after you. Until you go home," Saechao said the very next hand after peeling his cards.
"Great, keep doing it," replied Duveau.
Saechao then announced all in and Duveau nearly beat him into the pot from the small blind.
Julien Duveau: A♣A♥
Kao Chieng Saechao: A♠10♠
Duveau had run into aces but was still determined.
"It's OK. I'll get him," he said.
The flop of 2♣8♦10♥ gave Saechao a fighting chance, but the runout of 8♠Q♠ left him humbled as he left the table.
"Good game, guys. Good luck everybody."
