Nataraj Closes the Gap
Level 41
: Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Prashanth Nataraj raised to 6,000,000 first to act, and Laurance Essak called in the big blind.
When Essak checked on the K♣J♠2♦ flop, Nataraj continued for 4,000,000, which Essak called.
The turn brought the 3♠, and after Essak checked for a second time, Nataraj loaded up a barrel worth 12,000,000. That was enough to see Essak cede, and the gap between Essak and the other players was reduced.
