It was moving day today for Event #6: $1,500 Seven Card Stud here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas for the second day of limit action. A total of 359 players came out for this event to generate a prize pool of $476,572. Just 62 players returned for Day 2 today, but only 54 made the money and were guaranteed a minimum cash of $3,059. However, by night's end, just six players remained in contention for the WSOP bracelet and the first-place prize of $103,184.

Leading the way is New Jersey native Thomas Savitsky who bagged up 3,000,000. Savitsky has tournament cashes dating back to 2002, primarily in no-limit hold'em, but he has accumulated some mixed game results as well. He will need to finish in the top two to achieve a new career high score, and he has put himself in a position to do just that after a strong finish to the day.
