Taylor Hanging On By a Thread; Anderson Tables a Flush

Level 7

Omaha Hi-Lo

Esther Taylor was already all-in and at risk, and was up against Brian Battistone and Brian Tate.

All three players were looking at the 108375 board, which Battistone and Tate checked through to showdown.

Battitstone had 732, keeping his fourth card hidden, but he mucked his hand after Tate showed down A497 and Taylor tabled A486.

Tate and Taylor chopped up the low with their seven-fives, but Taylor took the high, as she had an eight-high straight to take three-quarters of the pot. Taylor chipped up to around 23,500, while Battistone was left with around 53,000.

On the next deal, Calvin Anderson raised from the hijack, and called when Philip Sternheimer three-bet from the button.

The J33 flop checked through before Sternheimer called bets on the 5 turn and 10 river. Anderson tabled A663 for a flush, and took down the pot.

A few hands later, Battistone was eliminated from the table.
