Stand Up Trick Pays Off for Owen

Level 9
Brad Owen
Brad Owen

2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Brad Owen raised from under the gun and called when Brian Rast reraised from the button.

Both players drew one, and Owen check-called a bet. Owen and Rast took another one each on second draw, but this time, Owen led out with a bet. Rast called.

Owen stood pat, while Rast took one. Owen bet, but quickly folded when Rast raised. Owen announced he had a no-good straight, showing 6x5x4x3x2x, and was left short.

No-Limit Hold'em

Rast opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and and Owen defended his big blind, leaving 30,000 behind. Owen check-folded to a bet for his tournament life on the 1054 flop.

Phil Hellmuth then took the next two pots to chip up slightly.

Owen then put in his last 25,000 from the hijack and Rast called from the big blind, to put the poker vlogger at risk.

Brad Owen: A2All in
Brian Rast: A9

Owen immediately left his chair, and started collecting his belongings. However, the K2J flop gave him the lead. The 6 turn and 4 river completed the runout and Owen survived.

At another table, Ioannis Angelou Konstas became the final casualty before dinner break.
