Thung Calls Down Hansen With a Nine

Level 15
Gus Hansen
Gus Hansen

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Roy Thung raised to 40,000 under the gun and was called by Luke Schwartz in middle position and Phil Ivey on the button. Gus Hansen then moved all in for 331,000 in the small blind.

Thung tanked for several minutes as a swarm of cameras surrounded the table. He eventually called as action went back on Schwartz, who also took a few minutes to consider the decision. "Take your time," Hansen told him, and Schwartz ended up folding. Ivey also quickly got rid of his cards.

Both players stood pat, and Thung turned over 9x7x6x5x4x. Hansen flashed a 10x and tossed his cards into the muck before heading off to the rail.
