Volpe Hits the Nuts on Yockey; Don't Disrupt Ivey While Watching Soccer

Level 16

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Bryce Yockey raised in the small blind and Paul Volpe called in the big blind.

Yockey led out with a bet on the 10J7 flop and Volpe called. Yockey then checked the Q turn, Volpe bet, and Yockey called.

The river was the 4 and Volpe put out another bet. Yockey called, and Volpe showed AKQ4 for a straight to win the pot.

Phil Ivey spent all of this hand standing up from his seat watching the Colombia-Congo World Cup match on the television screen. "Phil, play some poker," Eric Wasserson told him, drawing a deathly stare from Ivey.

Colombia happened to score right after. "Wass, don't talk to me while I'm watching soccer," Ivey told him.
