Tension & Frustration Brewing

Level 19
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Chris Brewer raised from the hijack and Jason Mercier called from the big blind. Mercier led out with a bet on the QJ7 flop, and then check-called a bet on the A turn.

The J river completed the board and Mercier threw out a bet. Brewer immediately showed signs of frustration, talking rapidly to himself and he pondered his options.

He threw in calling chips and then angrily chucked his hand that included AxQx across the table when Mercier announced "ace-jack," with his AJ103.

A few hands later, Maxx Coleman raised from under the gun. Mercier made it three-bets from the cutoff and was called by Alex Livingston from the button. Coleman also came along.

Coleman checked the QQ2 flop and Mercier bet. Livingston folded while Coleman stuck around. The latter then check-folded to a bet on the 10 turn.
