Paul Volpe limped in from the small blind before Benny Glaser made it 200,000 from the big blind. Volpe came back with a raise to 700,000 and took down the pot.
A few hands later, Phil Ivey raised to 120,000 on the button. He called when Josh Arieh three-bet to 425,000 from the small blind.
It checked through to the river for the board to read 8♠7♥2♥Q♦9♠. Arieh check-called a bet of 500,000. Ivey announced a pair of nines, showing Kx9x but Arieh had him pipped with A♣9♥.
Ivey's face appeared to not have enjoyed that particular loss.
