More Mid-Stakes Madness is on the Cards in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em

The latest mid-stakes action gets underway at the 2026 World Series of Poker, as players will gather at 2:00 p.m. local time to kick off Event #62: $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em. This event will once again be contested over three days, with players permitted one reentry during the first 12 levels of the opening day at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Similar events at the 2026 WSOP have attracted sizable crowds. The $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em event drew in 1,300 players, while the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezout saw 1,561 entries processed.

Structure and Schedule

Players will sit down with 35,000 chips, and levels on the opening day with be 40 minutes in duration. Levels will then extend to 60 minutes from Day 2 onward.

The schedule calls for 17 levels to be completed on Day 1, with a 20-minute breaks after every two hours of action. Late registration will close at the start of Level 13.

Day 2 will see 10 levels played, along with the addition of a 60-minute dinner break after Level 23.

Past Champions & Notable Winners

Last year, Mark Darner claimed the title and first-place prize of $496,826 after topping a field of 1,493 entries for his first WSOP bracelet.

The only other champions of this event are Samuel Bernabeu in 2023 and Colin Robinson in 2024.
