Kaufmann’s Jacks Hold

Sava Krink

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

David Kaufmann opened from early position to 30,000 and faced a three-bet from Maher Achour in middle position, which he called.

Both players checked the 8♦Q♠5♦ flop.

Kaufmann checked again on the 6♠ turn, and Achour fired 130,000. Kaufmann made the call.

The 10♣ completed the board, and both players opted to check it down.

Kaufmann tabled J♥J♠, which was enough to scoop the pot as Achour’s hand went into the muck.
