Pupillo and Seiver Tank It Out

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Scott Seiver opened with a pot-sized raise to 35,000 from early position. Nick Pupillo, on his left, stuck in the call, and Sam Soverel called from the big blind.

Soverel then led out for 30,000 on the 672 flop, with both of his opponents calling.

On the 2 turn, he slowed down with a check, and Seiver did the same. Pupillo asked the size of the pot, which was 210,000, before betting out for 75,000. Soverel folded, and Seiver went into the tank. After burning through two time extensions, he put in the call.

The river brought in the 9, and Seiver checked again. It was now Pupillo's turn to use two time extensions, as he thought for a while before checking back. Seiver had red aces, and Pupillo had the black ones, as they tabled AA87 and AA76, respectively, to chop the pot.
