Kupin's Heart Tells Him to Fold to Thorpe
Limits: 2,000-4,000
"Let's get some eye contact. From one autistic to another, look me in the eye," Mike Thorpe said to Aaron Kupin as they were heads-up after the second draw. Thorpe then bet from the button, and Kupin called in the hijack.
Kupin drew one. "I'm going to verbalize my action. Pat, pat, pat," Thorpe said. Kupin then checked to him. "I verbalize a bet," Thorpe added.
"PokerNews, watch me f**k Aaron. No matter what he does, he's either going to make the incorrect call or the incorrect fold," Thorpe said as Kupin went into the tank. "Follow your heart, not your brain. Do what your heart tells you to do," he said to Kupin.
Kupin eventually folded, and Thorpe returned his cards face down as he took in the pot. "You gotta show the bluff," tablemate Gus Hansen said.
"I only show when I have it," Thorpe replied.
