"I Used to Play This Game in the Desert For Water"; Zolotow Has Wasserson's Number
Limits: 8,000-16,000
Eric Wasserson raised in the cutoff and Steve Zolotow three-bet in the small blind. Wasserson called.
Zolotow drew one. "What kind of crap do you have over there?" Wasserson asked as he also took one. Zolotow then bet, and Wasserson called.
Zolotow stood pat and Wasserson drew two. Zolotow bet again, and Wasserson shuffled around his chips for a minute as he considered the decision. "You look like you're about to go all in," Zolotow told him.
Wasserson eventually called and drew one, and Zolotow stood pat. He checked to Wasserson who bet, and Zolotow called.
"Eight-seven perfect," Wasserson said, showing 8x7x4x3x2x.
"No good," Zolotow replied.
"No way," Wasserson added, and Zolotow showed him 8x6x5x3x2x. "It's amazing how good you run. I don't think I've ever beaten you in a pot," he said.
"I used to play this game in the desert for water," Zolotow said.
