After two full days of action, the field in Event #68: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship has been reduced from a massive 1,475 entries to just 48 players, all of whom return today guaranteed $4,123 but with their sights firmly set on the $194,630 top prize and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet. The event generated a prize pool of $1,298,000, and with the pay jumps steepening quickly, every pot on Day 3 will matter as the field races toward the final five who will return Sunday to play for the championship.
Leading the way is Aubrey Williams, who brings 1,665,000 into the day after steadily building throughout Day 2 at the World Series of Poker hosted by Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. Williams min-cashed this event last year and also has a min-cash in the WSOP Main Event. Sharing the top spot is Shannon Fahey, who also returns with 1,665,000.

Fahey’s biggest cash came from her fourth-place finish in the 2023 WSOP $1,000 Seniors Championship for $269,841, a score that accounts for more than half of her lifetime earnings. What began as her first WSOP appearance has turned into an annual event, and she has already surpassed her deep run in last year’s Ladies Event, where she finished 57th for $3,392.
Sitting just behind them is Cherish Andrews with 1,610,000. Andrews is one of the most accomplished players in the field and a familiar name in the 25K Fantasy draft. She final-tabled this event in 2022 and captured her first WSOP bracelet that same year in the WSOP Online No-Limit Hold’em Championship. With three WSOP Circuit rings and more than $4 million in career earnings, Andrews is one of the most experienced players returning to Day 3. She has already shown her dominance in the field and was seen building up her stack throughout play yesterday, applying maximum pressure to her opponents.
Also returning in a strong position is Lexy Gavin Mather, who bagged 1,165,000. She started to build momentum early in the day and saw some lucky rivers to help her maintain her stack. Gavin Mather has already enjoyed a successful 2026 WSOP, including a 23rd place finish in the $1,700 Circuit Championship and a seventh place finish in Event #59: $500 Salute to Warriors for $33,120. She also placed 26th in the WSOPE Ladies Championship and will now look to continue her strong summer run.
Ladies 2022 champion Jessica Teusl returns with 675,000, which places her squarely in the middle of the pack as she works toward securing another WSOP bracelet in the very event she won a few years ago. Her chips fluctuated throughout the day, but a late-night elimination of Laura Poulter helped her carry through a 33 big blind stack to work with.
Other familiar names still in contention include fellow WSOP bracelet winner Svetlana Gromenkova (975,000), and notables such as Caitlin Comesky (450,000) and Lisa Tan (830,000), both of whom will be looking to build early on Day 3 to climb the payouts ladder.

Action will resume at 12 p.m. today, with updates delayed, in sync with the live stream when it starts. Blinds resume at Level 21 with 10,000/20,000 and a 20,000 big blind ante, with 15-minute breaks every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 26 at approximately 6:30 p.m.
