Guennas Wins the Battle but Loses the War

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In the first hand of the day, Latifa Guennas moved all in for her remaining 80,000 from the cutoff and was called by Aubrey Williams in the big blind.

Latifa Guennas: K2All in
Aubrey Williams: J8

Guennas was ahead with the king, and the K9Q flop was good for her too. She held to double up and remain in the tournament after seeing the J turn and 9 river and retook her seat at the table.

In the very next had she open-jammed again for 190,000, and action folded around to Williams, who was in the small blind. Williams re-jammed for her chip-leading stack, and the pair went to showdown again.

Latifa Guennas: AKAll in
Aubrey Williams: AA

Quennas found herself up against pocket aces, and this time she didn't fare so well.

She did pick up some straight outs on the J102 flop, but bricked on the 9 turn and 6 river to see her time in the tournament come to an end.

She was the first to bust from the tournament today, taking home a $4,123 payout.
