Comeskey Climbs Up

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Caitlin Comeskey
Caitlin Comeskey

Skye Chen opened to 40,000 from middle position, and Kimura Nao called from the cutoff. Caitlin Comeskey three-bet to 120,000 on the button, and action went to Marie Benedetto in the big blind.

Before Benedetto had a chance to act, Chen moved in chips to call, not seeing that Benedetto still had yet to act. Benedetto opted to defend her big blind, and Chen put her chips back in the pot and Nao folded, taking the players three-ways to the flop.

The Q25 flop saw Benedetto check first, and the rest of the action followed suit around to Comeskey, who moved all in for her remaining 265,000. Comeskey saw no callers as action folded slowly around the table, and she picked up a healthy pot without having to get to showdown.
