Mizrachi Is Grinding Away

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

In a four-way limped pot, the entire board of 942410 was checked down and Jesse Lonis earned the pot with the Q1063 for a flush.

Raj Vohra and Ian Matakis then kept their short stacks afloat with pot-sized open raises before Michael Mizrachi made it 500,000 to go. Zarvan Tumboli called in the cutoff and they headed to the 873 flop. Mizrachi bet the pot for 1,500,000 and Tumboli folded.

Jesse Lonis opened to 700,000 from middle position and Martin Zamani defended his big blind.

Zamani check-called a 575,000 bet from Lonis on the 5A4 flop and then both players checked on the 8 turn.

The 9 completed the board and Zamani led out for 250,000, which got a tank-fold from Lonis after about a minute.

"Oh my God, I did it!" Zamani said. "I finally got one through on The Gorilla!" Zamani then tabled KQ62 for air before collecting the pot.

Michael Mizrachi raised to 600,000 from under the gun and won the blinds, as table short stack Raj Vohra sigh-folded.

Zarvan Tumboli then limped in, and so did Vohra from the small blind, while Mizrachi checked in the big blind.

They checked the J106 flop to the 2 turn, on which Vohra checked. Mizrachi bet 800,000 and Tumboli called, while Vohra folded.

Both elected to check down the 9 river and Mizrachi declared "one pair" without showing his cards just yet. Tumboli rolled over his AA43 and that won the pot.

"Come on Grinder, you are not a man, you just play the nuts," Martin Zamani exclaimed.

"I had the ace of hearts, too," Mizrachi replied.

Mizrachi Extends His Lead

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Michael Mizrachi raised to 600,000 from early position and called after Zarvan Tumboli made it 2,100,000 to go from the cutoff.

The flop came 4J5 and Mizrachi quickly bet enough to put Tumbolo all in for his last 4,000,000.

Tumboli tanked, but eventually thought better of it and sent his cards into the muck.

Lonis Gets Some Chips Back

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Ian Matakis then opened to 550,000 and folded when Zamani potted to 1,900,000.

The new level saw Michael Mizrachi limp the small blind and Matakis check the big blind to the KK9 flop. Mizrachi bet 200,000 and Matakis called. They checked the 6 turn, and Mizrachi check-folded the 10 river when Matakis bet what appeared to be 625,000.

Jesse Lonis raised to 550,000 from under the gun and was called by Michael Mizrachi in the hijack for a heads-up pot.

Mizrachi called a 1,500,000 bet from Lonis on the 237 flop, but went deep into the tank after Lonis barreled for 4,500,000 on the 9 turn.

Mizrachi eventually announced, "Pot," which was enough to commit Mizrachi's entire 8,275,000 into the middle, and Lonis called with his covering stack.

Michael Mizrachi: AA83All in
Jesse Lonis: AJ107

It was good timing from Mizrachi, who found himself with a solid lead with his aces against Lonis's pair and gutshot draw.

The dealer brought the K on the river. Mizrachi immediately clapped his hands and shouted, "Yes!" having scored the massive double up through Lonis, who was knocked down to 4,700,000 as a result of the hand.

Mizrachi Forces Out Lonis

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Martin Zamani raised to 550,000 from under the gun and stole the blinds.

Jesse Lonis then made it 550,000 to go and Michael Mizrachi called on the button. They headed to the AQ8 flop, on which Lonis bet the pot for 1,500,000. Mizrachi wasted little time before potting to 6,000,000 with around 1,300,000 behind. Lonis went into the tank and folded, having even asked "The Grinder" if he would show the cards upon folding.

Mizrachi shook his head to that but showed the cards to his rail, as several friends rushed by to take a look.

Martin Zamani limped from early position, Raj Vohra called from the small blind, and Michael Mizrachi checked his option in the big blind.

Everyone checked on the 27K flop and Vohra checked again on the 9 turn. Mizrachi took a stab at the pot for a bet of 150,000, which got a call from Zamani and a fold from Vohra.

The 9 paired the board on the river, and Mizrachi check-folded facing a 550,000 bet from Zamani.

Lonis Runs Away With the Lead

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Martin Zamani raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and was called by Jesse Lonis in the big blind. They checked the A43 flop to the 10 turn, on which Lonis bet 900,000 and Zamani called. Both checked the J river, and Lonis tabled the AK102 for aces and tens to scoop the pot.

"Oh, you fuckin had everything, eh?" Zamani exclaimed and added, "I thought I finally had you, flopped two pair, but you had me dead".

Shortly after, Zamani potted to 550,000 and then folded when Lonis repotted from the small blind.

"Alright, I am sorry," Zamani joked towards the now runaway chip leader Lonis.
