Abdallah Leaves Hansen on Fumes With a Double

George Abdallah raised to 12,000 in early position and Ari Engel called in the cutoff. Gus Hansen then three-bet to 51,000 in the big blind, and both Abdallah and Engel called.

The flop came 10♣10♥8♦ and Hansen continued for 25,000. Abdallah then moved all in for 70,000, and Engel got out of the way. "I'm probably going to call. I don't see why I wouldn't call," Hansen said as he personally counted down Abdallah's stack before putting him at risk.

Gus Hansen: A♣A♥6♠5♣

Hansen showed two aces, but he was behind Abdallah's flopped trips. The rest of the board ran out 9♣7♠, and Abdallah improved to a straight to win the pot and double up.
