Savara Saved on the River
Level 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Arun Savara opened to 800,000 from the small blind and Jacqueline Rosen moved in a stack of 100,000 chips to cover Savara from the big blind. Savara called quickly and the pair headed to showdown.
Arun Savara: Q♠J♠
Jacqueline Rosen: 2♣2♦
The 7♥4♦3♥ flop didn't give Savara much to work with, and neither did the 8♥ turn.
Savara lucked out on the J♦ river, which saved him from being eliminated from the tournament and edged him closer to being one of the last 100 remaining players.
