Minovic Misses the Pay Jump

Heads-up play was already underway with Randall Oakley with all his chips worth around 800,000 in the middle of the table waiting for Nikola Minovic to act.

Minovic was staring at the 22Q flop and the pot of around 500,000 beside it. With only a little more than 100,000 behind, he took significant time mulling things over until clock was called on him. On the last 5 seconds, he threw a chip in for a call.

Minovic was ahead but Oakley was hoping for his flush draw to complete. The dealer completed the board with a 6 turn and a 3 river, completing Oakley's flush and eliminating Minovic.

As he was leaving, Minovi asked the floor if he made the pay jump but was told he did not.

Wilkinson Flops a Set, Survives

Action was picked up with Jared Wilkison and Micheal O'Neill toe-to-toe in an all-in showdown.

Wilkinson got on his feet and picked up his bag ready to leave when he saw he was behind. He made a fist pump celebrating the set he caught on the 1065. But O'Neill had more outs to improve with a flush draw.

The turn 4 fell and the dealer completed the board with a J river. With neither king or spade, Wilkinson sat back down to continue his tournametn run.

Potts Pockets No Good; Kranz Triples Up

Menachem Kranz was already all in and at risk from the small blind with around 250,000 in front of them. They were in the hand with Samrat Yeramaneni in middle position who was all in and covered both him and Tedd Potts who was all in for ~300,000 on the button.

Dang Triples Up

Khaly Dang was all in from the cutoff for their last 50,000 and Michael Sorrentino called from the small blind with Anthony Gruce also topping up the 10,000 from the big blind.

The KJQ flop was checked by both Sorrentino and Gruce to see the 2 turn.

Sorrentino checked, bet Gruce bet out Sorrentino mucked, leaving the showdown to go heads up.

In one of the first hands of the day, Alonzo Lau was all in for their remaining 290,000 from early position and called and covered by Aijing Jiao in late position.
