Gonsalves was a slight favorite, and if neither player improved, Bonin would be eliminated in the final level of the day.

Bonin took a huge lead on the 3♠7♠Q♥ flop by pairing his queen, but the A♦ on the turn propelled Gonsalves back in front with a pair of aces.

The 5♥ river was no help to Bonin, and he headed to the exit in 10th place.

Lhuillier check-called a continuation-bet of 200,000 from Rezaei on the 7♠7♣3♥ flop.

The 6♦ turn checked through before the Q♦ completed the board. Lhuillier led out for 800,000, and after giving it some thought, Rezaei put Lhuillier all in for his remaining 2,050,000.

Lhuillier quickly folded, and Rezaei dragged in the pot.

With 1,100,000 in the pot, Daniel Rezaei checked from the big blind on the 5♥K♠9♣ flop, and Jean Lhuillier checked behind to see the J♦ on the turn.

Another check came from both players before the 6♦ completed the runout. Rezaei led out for 275,000, and Lhuillier quickly called.

Rezaei tabled 10♠9♦ for a pair of nines, but it was second best to Lhuillier's K♥7♣ for top pair.

With 5♦4♠, Markus Gonsalves completed from the small blind, and Eric Bonin checked his option in the big blind with 9♠3♠.

Both players checked the K♠Q♥3♦ flop before the 6♦ arrived on the turn. Gonsalves bet 200,000, which Bonin called.

The 10♠ landed on the river, and Gonsalves jammed, covering Bonin. The bet was for Bonin's remaining 1,700,000, and after giving it plenty of thought, he elected to fold.

"Let's check it down to the river," joked Mikolaitis.

The flop came A♣A♦9♣, and, true to their word, both players checked.

They both checked the turn 4♥.

On the river 3♥, Mikolaitis bet 25,000 to put the last chip of Rezaei's in the pot.

Rezaei laughed, "Well, I am not folding here," as he slid his last chip into the pot.

Mikolaitis turned over K♥Q♥, and Rezaei's jacks J♦J♣ held for the win with two pair.

The J♣ completed the board, and both players checked. Izquierdo tabled Q♠7♥ for top pair to win the pot, while Ma mucked 10♥6♣ for ten-high.
