Foxen Wins the Battle with Barakat

Level 3 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Alex Foxen

Youness Barakat opened to 8,000 from middle position and Jason Koon three-bet to 15,000 from late position. Alex Foxen defended his big blind and Barakat called to take the players three-ways to the flop.

The dealer fanned the 67J and action checked to Koon who bet 15,000. Foxen called and Barakat raised to 60,000. Koon folded, Foxen called and the pair continued heads up to the 6 turn.

Foxen made a quick check, Barakat took a little longer but also checked behind. The 7 river completed the board and Foxen pushed in a time card before opting to bet 51,000. Barakat mucked his hand and Foxen saw a good chip up.
