Foxen Sends Lonis into the Tank

Level 3 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

Jesse Lonis was sitting in the cutoff and in a pot with Alex Foxen, who was in the small blind. The pair were looking at a J64 flop with a pot of around 45,000.

Foxen had checked to Lonis, who bet 32,000, and Foxen called to see the 10 turn. Foxen checked the turn, and Lonis moved out a 114,000 bet. Foxen counted out his stack and then made the call to take them to the 9 river.

Foxen took his time before raising to 290,000, leaving just a single 1,000 chip behind. Lonis went into the tank and, after just over a minute, opted to muck his cards.

As another player joined the field, Foxen was moved to another position, and Lonis joked to Foxen, "You hit-and-run?"
