John Juanda opened to 30,000 in middle position, and Laurent Polito made the call in the cutoff. Russel Banzon slid in a call on the button, as did Rafi Dahan in the small blind. Qiao Du defended his big blind, and all five players checked the K♣10♣2♦ flop.
Another round of checks followed the 6♦ turn, and action checked around to Banzon on the 5♠ river. Banzon fired 100,000 into the middle, and Dahan quickly moved his covering stack all in.
Du, Juanda and Polito got out of the way, and Banzon stuck in the call. Dahan tabled A♣6♣ for a pair of sixes, while Banzon revealed 5♥5♦ for a set of fives to more than double his stack.
The action was picked up on a board of 10♦K♥2♥8♠7♣ with already more than 400,000 in the pot.
Ayman Qutami in the cutoff moved all-in for 305,000, so Hugo De La Fouchardiere under the gun went deep into the tank.
It took several minutes for De La Fouchardiere to make a decision, but he ultimately folded.
Martin Kabrhel raised to 35,000 from under the gun, finding a call from Sebastian Isaacs in the big blind.
Isaacs checked the J♣7♠6♣ flop, and Kabrhel continued with a bet of 42,000. The call was made, and Isaacs tapped the table again following the 6♠ turn.
Kabrhel took a moment before counting out a bet of 116,000, taking down the pot as Isaacs let his hand go. Kabrhel continued to multi-table with Event #78: $600 Deepstack Championship No-Limit Hold'em while building a big stack in this event.
