Following a successful opening week at Palace Poker, the first of the new RunGood Poker Series season has reached the main attraction. Today marks the first two of eight starting flights in the RGPS Golden Expedition Dallas $600 Main Event, with action set to begin at 11:00 a.m. local time.
Players will have plenty of chances to take home a piece of the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, as multiple flights highlight the schedule through Saturday, August 22. Players will then combine the following day to battle for the title, along with the first Main Event ring of the new season.
The series sees RunGood's return to Palace Poker, after a stop in the Passport Season came to a close in March. RGPS regular Daniel Lowery claimed victory in the $1,200 Main Event to capture his 12th ring along with the top-prize of just over $100,000.
Lowery defeated a field of 468 entries, outlasting Thao Tran in a back-and-forth heads-up match to earn the largest share of the $500,000 prize pool.
