Wood Wakes Up With It
Level 27
Ante: 80,000
7♣8♦7♦3♠4♥
5♣10♠Q♥A♥Q♣
Christopher Wood had less than a single ante behind and moved all in for his final 70,000 on the flop, announcing that he had "Casino Royale." Antoine Labat called, Abdul Amer made it 450,000 to go, and Labat folded.
Christopher Wood: K♠J♠8♠8♣
Abdul Amer: 10♥10♣6♣5♠
Wood had found a hand at the right time, flopping eights full on the top board and an open-ender on the bottom. He was in pole position to scoop, but Amer managed to boat up on the bottom to claim half the pot.
