Yuhong Liu Top Dog Going into Day 2 of $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #87: $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), hosted at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
A massive 4,764 players ponied up the $1,000 buy-in over two starting flights, generating a whopping $4,192,320 prize pool.
Only 288 players bagged up from Flight A and 426 from Flight B. Today, these 714 players return to battle it out on the felt and take their shot at the eye-watering first-place prize of $305,000, which of course comes along with the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
All players will be hunting down Yuhong Liu, who enters Day 2 with 1,167,000 chips and the overall lead. Robert Scherer is hot on Liu’s heels in second with 1,138,000 chips, and Lautaro Guerra rounds out the podium, starting Day 2 in third place with 1,135,000 chips.

A plethora of notable players are still in the mix and looking to leverage their experience to push on in Day 2 and build a healthy stack for a run at the final table.
To name just a few, two-time bracelet winner Tyler Brown (871,000) and recent three-time bracelet winner Jason Daly (559,000) are both sitting pretty to make a deep run and collect their next bracelet.
Others to make it through include Anson Tsang (374,000), David "ODB" Baker (265,000), Brandon Shack-Harris (235,000), Phil Hui (215,000), Joao Simao (145,000), Bryce Yockey (121,000), Mike Matusow (89,000), Josh Reichard (85,000), Ari Engel (78,000) and Dylan Linde (40,000).
All players are already in the money, with a minimum payout of $1,300 locked up. Mystery bounties will be in play when the action kicks off and will be announced at the start of play.
Day 2 is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m, with 22 minutes remaining in Level 15, where the blinds are 3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante.
Levels will be 40 minutes long with a 15-minute break every three levels. There is a scheduled 60-minute dinner break at the conclusion of Level 27.
Play will continue until a winner is reached and awarded their hard-earned WSOP gold bracelet, along with a payout ticket for $305,000.
