La Francesca Building A Stack
Level 18
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Alessio La Francesca raised from the hijack to 24,000, Michael Stein called from the button, and poker commentator Ronnie Bardah came along for the ride from the big blind.
The flop was Q♠6♦10♣, and both of the early players checked to the in-position player, Michael Stein, who bet 25,000, and only La Francesca called.
Both players checked the turn 3♦.
On the river 10♠, La Francesca took back control of the pot and bet 65,000, and Stein called.
Stein flipped over 6♥4♣ for two pair, and La Francesca showed Q♦7♦ for a better two pair and the win.
