Ferrara Busts Liu

Erick Torres

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Xiaohu Liu went all-in for his final 250,000 from early position before he was called out of the big blind by Matteo Ferrara.

Xiaohu Liu: K♦J♦ All in
Matteo Ferrara: J♥J♠

Liu was in a bad position going into the runout as he was only directly drawing to a king against Ferrara's pocket jacks.

The flop gave Liu little to work with when the dealer fanned out 9♣2♦A♠ to keep Ferrara in the lead.

Liu failed to improve on the 8♥ turn or the Q♥ river to be eliminated from contention.
