Marius Gierse Eliminated in 18th Place ($47,045)
Level 30
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Marius Gierse opened to 1,300,000 from middle position with just a single 25,000 chip left behind. Chahn Jung called from the cutoff and there were no more takers.
The J♠Q♣10♦ flop saw Gierse check, Jung bet to put Gierse all in, and Gierse snap called.
Marius Gierse: 2♣2♠
Chahn Jung: A♠Q♦
Jung had the best of it with the pair of queens. Gierse saw no help on the J♥ turn, and he was eliminated in one of the final hands of the night after the dealer placed the 9♠ river.
