Maurice Hawkins Eliminated in 4th Place ($432,875)
Level 38
: Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Maurice Hawkins open jammed from under the gun for his last 9,700,000. Action folded to Yanting Jiang in the big blind who looked at her hand a number of times before saying "Gamble,Gamble!" and she made the call.
Maurice Hawkins: A♣Q♦
Yanting Jiang: 10♦7♦
Hawkins was ahead pre-flop, and the 6♣6♠6♦ flop didn't change much.
A 5♠ turn was safe for Hawkins but the 7♥ river saw Jiang pinch the pot. After an epic comeback from half a big blind, Hawkins hit the rail in fourth place.
