Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Kristen Foxen
Kristen Foxen

Aleksejs Ponakovs limped from the hijack, and Kristen Foxen raised to 3,000 on the button. Andre Akkari came along in the big blind, as did Ponakovs.

Akkari checked the 686 flop, and Ponakovs checked behind. Foxen continued for 3,000, and Akkari folded. Ponakovs check-raised to 10,000, and Foxen replied with a three-bet to 23,000.

Ponakovs then four-bet to 36,000, and Foxen answered back by five-betting to 49,000. Ponakovs made the call, and checked the 10 turn.

"Do you have aces?" asked Foxen before opting to check it back.

Ponakovs then led out on the K river, sliding forward enough chips to put his opponent all in. That sent Foxen into the tank.

"Such a weird hand," observed Foxen as she talked to herself out loud. After a few minutes of consideration, Foxen stuck in the call.

"No," Ponokovs jokingly whined as he revealed QJ for missed flush and straight draws. Foxen proudly tabled 99, taking down the pot while reflecting on the wild hand with her tablemates.

Shortly after Josh Arieh's exit from the table, Yuen Yong Shih opened to 4,000 from under the gun. Graham Matthews three-bet to 8,500 on the button, and Daniel Negreanu moved all in for 13,000 in the small blind.

Ian Monahoyios five-bet to 30,000 in the big blind, with Shih and Matthews both folding.

Daniel Negreanu: AJ All in
Ian Monahoyios: 1010

Negreanu began recording and told Monahoyios that he was 96 percent to win the hand, but the 1062K7 runout said otherwise. Negreanu came up empty, losing the flip and his stack to the set of Monahoyios.
