Play will resume at noon for Event #14: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E with 167 players hopefuls looking to make Day 3. There will be 10-and-a-half hour-long levels with a 15-minute break after every two levels and an hour-long dinner break after Level 6 at approximately 6:30 p.m. A total of 111 players will make the money for at least $2,247 with first place taking home $203,709.
The story of Day 1 was unlikely chip leader Adam Dickson who has no recorded WSOP cashes and only $500 in total tournament earnings to his name. Dickson (180,300) was the only player to crack 100K in chips and has nearly double the chips of second place Chawki Fawaz (92,500).
Also in contention with above average stacks are Daniel Weinman (81,300), Marco Johnson (69,000), John Monnette (62,500), David "Bakes" Baker (62,400) and defending champ Ian Johns (41,500).

Colin Burton: / - fold
On third street, Monnette brought in, Ogrady completed, Burton called, Monnette raised, Ogrady reraised and Ogrady folded.
On fourth street, Monnette paired up and bet and Ogrady raised all in, and Monnette called.
Monnette ended up making two pair and eliminated Ogrady.

Seven-Card Stud
Daniel Negreanu had Todd Kreisman all in and at risk in one of the first seven-card stud hands of the day and showed pocket aces. Kreisman however had a set of queens and held up to double.
Esther Taylor and Mihails Morozovs also got into an early pot as well.
Esther Taylor: /
Mihails Morozovs: /
Taylor bet fourth street and Morozovs called before checking fifth street when he found an ace. Taylor bet and Morozovs called before check-folding sixth street. "Good fold," Taylor said and flashed for a pair of kings.

Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo
Kevin Strehlow, Andrew Barber and Mikhail Tulchinskiy were the first three casualties in the Miranda room where the screens currently show 159 players remaining.
Thomas Hunt: /
Mitch Mitchener: /
Meanwhile Thomas Hunt was more fortunate. In a four-way seven-card stud hi-lo hand, he bet fourth street with deuce-four suited showing and forced two folds. However, Mitch Mitchener check-called with an ace-king before folding on fifth street.
Hunt claimed another pot soon after and essentially tripled up his short stack.

Gabe Paul: / /
Dmitry Chop: / /
James Richburg: / /
Rolf Galasen and Gabe Paul are the next casualties, and the latter exited in brutal fashion after his stack was reduced to all but two bring-ins in a huge three-way hand.
There were already multiple bets in on third street between Paul, Dmitry Chop and James Richburg. On sixth street, the bets were capped and all three players remained in before seventh street saw Paul check. Chop bet and Richburg called, and Paul called as well.
Chop showed for a straight and Richburg showed , showing he had rolled up sixes and had caught a higher full house on seventh with another nine. Paul mucked up rolled up aces after being unable to catch a full house, was moved tables and busted right after.
The pot was more than 70,000 in total, double the current average!

Frankie O'Dell checked out the remaining three tables in the Miranda room. "I just came over to say hi, good luck," he said after being given a penalty over in Brasilia. Apparently, O'Dell misread his cards and checked behind the nuts to get a time out, but sits on an above-average stack. Current casualties from Miranda include Marc Schubbe, Mitch Mitchener and Ryan Paluf.
Daniel Negreanu has had a rough start into the day and saw his stack cut in half, while Walter Treccarichi, Thomas Hunt and Frederic Moss increased their stacks significantly.
