Hughes Back in the Lead

Level 57 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Adrian Mateos raised from the button to 40,000 and Ryan Hughes defended his big blind.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Hughes checked to Mateos who continued for 30,000. Hughes check-raised to about 90,000, Mateos called, and the turn was the {A-Hearts}. Hughes bet 130,000, Mateos called, and the river was the {2-Spades}.

Hughes shoved for about 400,000 and Mateos laid back in his chair.

"Sick," said Mateos, as he showed the {2-Clubs} and folded.

"Good river for you," said Hughes as he showed {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. "@#$%ing miracle."
