Mercier Eliminated by Israelashvili

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Badacey

Roland Israelashvili raised to 4,000 from under the gun, and Jason Mercier three-bet to 6,000 from the cutoff. Quinn Do called in the small blind, as did Israelashvili.

Do drew two, Israelashvili drew one, and Mercier drew three.

Israelashvili bet out 2,000, and Mercier called all in for 500. Do check-called the full bet.

Do and Mercier drew three while Israelashvili stood pat.

Do checked, Israelashvili bet 4,000, and Do folded.

Israelashvili: {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Mercier: {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Hearts}

With Mercier drawing two again, the first card he squeezed was the {5-Clubs}, meaning that any diamond or low card below a ten that didn't pair him would see him scoop the pot.

Unfortunately for Mercier, he could only manage to find the {K-Diamonds} and was forced to exit.

Freeman Finds the Call Button to Bust Deeb

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Shaun Deeb moved all in from the small blind on a completed board of {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Zachary Freeman asked the dealer to spread the pot, and there appeared to be about double Deeb's bet of 27,700. Freeman decided to call after about a minute, and Deeb flicked {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} into the middle. Freeman had him out-kicked with {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

Kings for Friedman

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Adam Friedman opened with a raise under the gun, only to have Zachary Freeman three-bet next to act to 7,000. The action folded back to Friedman, and he moved all in for 16,000, with Freeman calling.

Friedman: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Freeman: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} to ensure the double for Friedman.

From the cutoff, Kobi Ribak moved all in for 18,100, and Chris Vitch moved all in from the small blind, isolating himself against the at-risk Ribak.

"This Time, He Got Owned"

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The player in the small blind bet 16,300 into a pot of about 25,000 on a completed board of {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Mike Matusow stood up and was thinking things over in the big blind. He grabbed enough chips to call and seemed to be leaning that way as he continued to think. He eventually fired in the calling chips, and his opponent just nodded and showed {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}.

"This time, he got owned," Matusow said with pleasure, rolling over {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}. "Boom! Payback's a bitch."

Bellande Busts

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

On a final board reading {J-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Jean-Robert Bellande was already all in on a previous street as the two active players continued in side action.

Brandon Cantu's opponent checked to him, and Cantu bet 15,000, which was enough to effectively put him all in.

Eventually Cantu's opponent folded, and Cantu was pushed the side pot while he tabled his {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} for the nut straight.

Bellande revealed {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and exited the tournament area as Cantu moved over 130,000 in chips.

The action folded to Eric Crain in the small blind, and he raised to 4,000. Frank Kassela three-bet to 6,000 in the big blind, and Crain called.

The flop fell {6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, and Crain checked to Kassela, who bet 2,000. Crain check-raised to 4,000, and Kassela released his hand.

Cousineau Eliminated by Baker

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Tony Cousineau moved in under the gun for 8,500, and Andrey Zaichenko called in the small blind. David "ODB" Baker shoved in the big blind to put Zaichenko at risk for his remaining 28,000 if he called, but the Russian mucked.

Cousineau: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Baker: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Zaichenko said he folded ace-queen. The board ran out {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} to improve Baker to trips and a winner.
