Phil Laak Doubles; Then Busts

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Phil Laak (as seen in a previous event)
Phil Laak (as seen in a previous event)

Phil Laak had {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and didn't hit anything on the {4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board, but somehow, his hand was still good enough to provide him with a double.

Laak moved up to 17,300, paid his ante and played the following hand, seated in the cutoff. Action folded to him and he open-shoved his remaining 16,900. He found a customer in the player in the big blind.

Phil Laak: {K-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Big blind: {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The board {5-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} missed Laak's cards again, but this time his hand wasn't strong enough to keep him in the tournament. Laak offered a "good luck guys" to the table before leaving the Miranda Room.

Meanwhile, Jamie Kerstetter is no longer sitting at McKeehen's table as she couldn't spin her short stack up.
